Rotita has both good and bad trust signals. On Trustpilot, Rotita.com has a 4.5 out of 5 TrustScore from more than 8,000 reviews, which looks positive. But the same Trustpilot page also shows that 24% of reviews are 1-star, and it says the company has not replied to negative reviews. That means many people are happy, but a large group is not.

Are There Any Cons?

1. Review Ratings

Going through the reviews dropped by past customers on trusted review websites such as sitejabber and trustpilot, there seems to be a high number of unsatisfied customers who generally complained about similar concerns, which mostly had to do with delivery issues or the practicality of the refund policy. This is not the best sign of what to expect when engaging the platform.

2. Complexity of refund/return policy

While it is definitely an advantage that the platform has a return policy in place for customers who feel like the product they got is not what they wanted, there have been a few complaints about how this policy works. The company allows for return of products to be done in 30days, that is, they must receive the product(s) back from the buyer at most 30 days after the client must have received the product(s).

Or at least, that is what we assume. Customers have complained that they returned clothes immediately upon receiving them but the company notifies them much later that the return was later than 30 days hence, they were not qualified to receive a refund, pointing to the delay being in the delivery process. Another set complained that the return delivery seemed to have been timely but it appeared the company started counting the 30 days from the time the product left their store/warehouse, rather than when it got to the buyer. What we can gather from these is that Rotita needs to add clarity to the terms of their return and refund policy.

3. Delivery process

The delivery process employed by the company often leaves the customer in the dark on the status of the goods they purchased. No tracking code or ID, no progress report via email or text; just an email informing the customer of the date of the delivery. In this day and age with all the technological advancements, this does not cut it, it is the barest minimum. Customers should be able to know the progress of the products they already paid for but based on reviews sought from the earlier listed review platforms, this is not always the case.

Also, the free standard shipping and delivery process takes a long while. It should take a maximum of 15 days to deliver items using the free standard shipping service, per Rotita website (this in itself is a long wait period). However, in some cases, a customer could be left waiting up to a week or more in some cases in addition to the agreed delivery timeframe before they get their products delivered to them.

While Rotita explains the reason for this on their website, it is nonetheless frustrating for customers to wait for so long, especially when the products ordered are for a particular period which may have passed before the items get delivered. Rotita explains that this delay can sometimes be caused by stringent security checks at ports and borders amongst other factors beyond their control that could hamper the delivery of items at the stipulated date and time.

4. Unavailability of Mobile Application

Mobile apps have their advantages over browsing through the pages of a website. They are more convenient to operate. And this is an area where Rotita lacks. It is even shocking to find an online based ecommerce business that does not have the mobile application available for users on their handheld devices. Sure, one can still access the website on those devices but there is just something about mobile apps that users love and makes them preferable over websites. However, it must be said that browsing through the website isn’t as clumsy as one might expect.

Conclusion

So, is Rotita trustworthy? Rotita appears to be a real online store, and many customers have successfully ordered from it. In that sense, it can be called trusted by some buyers. However, it is not the most reliable choice for every shopper because public reviews are very mixed.

Rotita may be worth trying if you like the style, understand the return policy, use a protected payment method, and start with a small order. But if you need perfect sizing, fast delivery, easy refunds, or high-quality clothing every time, you may want to be careful.

Overall, Rotita is somewhat trustworthy but not risk-free. A smart shopper should read recent reviews, check size charts, keep order records, and avoid spending more than they are willing to risk.
